Haritha K

Haritha K. joined NSRL as a Master’s project student in 2017, where she worked on the detection of dopamine, uric acid, and endotoxins. She continued with the group as a Junior Research Fellow, focusing on endotoxin detection. Haritha qualified the CSIR UGC NET in December 2017 and GATE in 2018, and in 2020 she enrolled as a Ph.D. student at NSRL. By the time she began her doctoral studies, she had published two research articles. Her Ph.D. work is centered on the development of electrochemical biosensors for bacteria, bacterial toxins, and cholesterol, with the goal of translating these into tangible diagnostic devices for real-world applications.

Teena Thomas

Teena Thomas completed her postgraduation from Calicut university campus in 2019 and done her MSc project entitled “Facile Hydrothermal Synthesis of MnO2 Coated Magnetite and its Application in Oil Removal” under the guidance of Dr. John Philip, IGCAR Kalpakkam.She qualified CSIR UGC NET in Dec 2019 and GATE in 2020 and joined as Junior research fellow in february 2021 for the DST Research Project entitled “Design and Development of a low cost, rapid and sensitive sensor for the on-site detection of Endotoxin” . She joined for PhD in August 2022. Currently she is doing reaearch on hydrogen production through water splitting.

Anju V.S

Anju V S had completed her Post graduation as well as Graduation in Chemistry from Sacred Heart College, Thevara, Cochin. She qualified for the GATE Exam in the year 2020. She had also worked as Skilled Assistant in the Material Science and Environment Section of Fishing Technology Division of ICAR-Central Institute of Fisheries Technology (CIFT)-Cochin from April 2021 to December 2021 and thereafter joined Dr.N.Sandhyarani’s research group as Junior Research Fellow in the DST-SERB funded project based on Direct Methanol Fuel Cell in which her core research area is Oxygen Reduction Reaction. She joined for PhD in December 2022.

Dhakshina Prakash

She completed her post-graduation in Chemistry from Maharaja's College, Ernakulam. Subsequently, she worked as a Project Assistant at IISER Thiruvananthapuram under the supervision of Dr. A. Thirumurugan on the project “Vanadium-based Hybrid Materials for Supercapacitors”. She also served as a Guest Faculty at Deva Matha College, Kuravilangad, and St. Xavier's College, Vaikom. Having qualified GATE, she joined as a Junior Research Fellow in the SERB-CRG project titled “Structure and Property Tuning of Transition Metal Compounds to Augment Electrocatalytic Activity towards Direct Methanol Fuel Cell Applications”. In July 2025, she enrolled for her Ph.D. and is
currently pursuing research in the area of direct methanol fuel cells (DMFC).

Sneha S

Sneha S had completed her master’s degree in Chemistry from School of Chemical Sciences, MG University Kottayam. She did her Msc project under the guidance of Dr.Manohar V. Badiger and Sreekumar Kurungot at CSIR NCL Pune.She qualified for UGC-JRF in December 2024 and thereafter joined Dr.N.Sandhyarani’s research group as PhD student. Her core research area is Carbondioxide Reduction Reaction.
