Anagha Yatheendran
Anagha Yatheendran joined Dr. N. Sandhyarani’s group as an Inspire Fellow in 2019. Anagha received her Master’s degree in Chemistry from Cochin University of Science and Technology in 2018. She did her MSc project under the guidance of Prof. T Pradeep, IIT madras and published a paper entitled as ‘Waterborne Fluorine-Free Superhydrophobic Surfaces Exhibiting Simultaneous CO2 and Humidity Sorption’. She has chosen oxygen reduction reaction and methanol oxidation reactions in methanol fuel cells as her area of research. Besides being a dedicated Research scholar Anagha finds great fun in travelling and spending time with his family.
Haritha K
Haritha joined NSRL as a masters project student in 2017. After this she successfully sought another opportunity as JRF in our lab. Currently she is a PhD student at NSRL. All of her research at NSRL has focused on sensors for dopamine, uric acid and endotoxin detection. After having two publications to her credit, Haritha hopes to extend her research work to tangible devices for real life applications. Haritha's hobbies include travelling and cooking.
Teena Thomas
Teena Thomas completed her postgraduation from Calicut university campus in 2019 and done her MSc project entitled “Facile Hydrothermal Synthesis of MnO2 Coated Magnetite and its Application in Oil Removal” under the guidance of Dr. John Philip, IGCAR Kalpakkam. She qualified CSIR UGC NET in Dec 2019 and GATE in 2020 and joined as Junior research fellow in february 2021 for the DST Research Project entitled “Design and Development of a low cost, rapid and sensitive sensor for the on-site detection of Endotoxin” . She joined for PhD in August 2022. Currently she is doing reaearch on hydrogen production through water splitting.
Anju V.S
Anju V S had completed her Post graduation as well as Graduation in Chemistry from Sacred Heart College, Thevara, Cochin. She qualified for the GATE Exam in the year 2020. She had also worked as Skilled Assistant in the Material Science and Environment Section of Fishing Technology Division of ICAR-Central Institute of Fisheries Technology (CIFT)-Cochin from April 2021 to December 2021 and thereafter joined Dr.N.Sandhyarani’s research group as Junior Research Fellow in the DST-SERB funded project based on Direct Methanol Fuel Cell in which her core research area is Oxygen Reduction Reaction. She joined for PhD in December 2022.
